William David Hortle WALLACE was born in Natimuk near Horsham, Victoria in 1884
His parents were James WALLACE & Margaret REDDIE
He enlisted in Toowoomba, Queensland on 31st May, 1916 and embarked with the 52nd Infantry Battalion, 7th Reinforcements on the ship Marathon from Brisbane on 27th October, 1916
William died of wounds received in Action on 14th April, 1918
