Three Australian soldiers have been killed and 16 wounded in 48 hours of clashes with scattered Vietcong units.
Fifteen soldiers, nine of them national servicemen, were wounded in two clashes with the Vietcong north of the Australian Task
Force base at Nui Dat on Saturday. Two of the wounded are seriously ill.

On Friday three Australian soldiers were killed and another was wounded. Killed were: Corporal Graham Leonard
Norley, 23, single, of Kilburn, South Australia. Private Dayle William Morrison, 22, single, of Auchenflower, Queensland.
Private Raymond Paul Binning, 21, single, of Seacombe Gardens, South Australia.

A New Zealand soldier, Corporal George Kingi Hoerara, 35, single, of Gisborne, also was killed in the fighting on Friday and an
other New Zealand serviceman was wounded.

List of casualties
The death and casualty lists were published by army authorities in Canberra and Wellington last night, but no details of the
incidents were announced. The wounded are in two United Stales evacuation hospitals at Long Binh. -

Corporal Barry George Ritchie, 31, married, of Enoggera, Queensland, 2RAR (satisfactory).
Private John Ross Brewer, national serviceman, 22, married, of Glenreach, NSW, 7RAR (very satisfactory).
Private Alfred Norman Hawken, national serviceman, 22, married, of Thornbury, Victoria 7RAR (seriously ill).
Private Gregory Raymond Morgan, 20, married. of Campbelltown, NSW, 2RAR (very satisfactory).
Lance-Corporal Paul John Delmos, national serviceman, 22, single, of Airport West Victoria, 7RAR (seriously ill).
Corporal Samuel Davies, national serviceman, 21, single of Muswellbrook, NSW, 7RAR (satisfactory).
Private Geoffrey Herbert Schwartz, national serviceman, 22. single, of Coorparoo, Queensland, 2RAR (very satisfactory).
Private Keith Edward Gent, national serviceman, 22, single, of Essendon, Victoria, 7RAR (satisfactory).
Private Clive Roland Percival, national serviceman, 21, single, of Naval Base, Western Australia, 7RAR (satisfactory).
Private Leslie John Noel Barnett, national serviceman .21, single, of Tweed Heads, NSW, 2RAR (very satisfactory).
Private Gordon Alexander Black, 24, single, of Blackburn South, Victoria, 2RAR (satisfactory).
Corporal Innes Alexander Bessant, 26. single, of Redcliffe, Western Australia, 7RAR (satisfactory).
Lieutenant Eric Charles Pearson, 22, married, of Bedford Park, Western Australia, 2RAR (satisfactory).
Private Whaiate-motu, 26, single, of Gisborne,New Zealand, received wounds to his legs and arms from flying
shrapnel when a mine exploded on Friday. His condition is said to be satisfactory.
