Until 2014, Bert had no headstone. The Rotary Club of Ballarat South generously donated funds for one.
A ceremony was conducted and attended by the Rotary Club of Ballarat, the Mayor of Ballarat, Government Officials, members of the Ballarat Cemetery Trust, Citizens of Ballarat and of course, family. Also in attendance were WIN-TV and local newspapers.
Thank you to all concerned from the Jones Family - Sylvia Jones
