Alden Bernard BRAMICH was born in New Town, Tasmania on 21st May, 1891
His parents were Bernard Harrison BRAMICH & Alice BALLANTYNE who married in Tasmania in 14th November, 1888
He married Myra RAMSKILL on 26th July, 1915 & had one daughter May born 28th April, 1916
Alden enlisted as a Private in Claremont, Tasmania on 4th August, 1915 and embarked with the 15th Infantry Battalion, 10th Reinforcements on the HMAT Port Lincoln from Melbourne on 16th October 1915 -
He was transferred to the 47th Infantry Battalion on 5th February, 1916 & promoted to Lance Corporal on 8th January, 1917 & to Corporal on 21st March, 1917
He was Killed in Action at Passchendaele on 12th October, 1917 - no known grave - His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial and the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial
