Armament Artificer  Victorian Permanent  Artillery and the Royal Australian Garrison Artillery 6th March 1890 till 28th September 1919.

Captain ( Honorary Major) Post WW1

Appointed Captain Quartermaster as Armament Artificer in the Royal Australian Ordnance Corps with effect 29 September 1919.

Awarded  16th June 1916 Meritorious Service Medal  for service as Armament Artificer 3rd Military District  issued 26 May 1921

Appointed Honorary  Major 27September 1925
