Son of Thomas Henry and Ellen BARNETT of 46 Randall Road, North Perth, WA
Harry was allotted the letter “A” to his service number to avoid duplication when assigned to 4th WAC on 4 January 1916. His pay was debited £1/7/4 on account of greatcoats not returned.
He married Jessie Caroline Brown in 1920 in Perth, Western Australia. They had two children during their marriage.
Harry also served in WW2, Service # W243003, enlisting on 10 October 1939 and he was discharged on 8 November 1944. His rank was Private, and he served with 29 GRN.
