Charles Albin Swedish background
Charles Albin Carlson was born Carl Albin Carlsson in 20th august 1871 in Nödinge Sweden.
His father is August Carlsson and Josefina Charlotta Carlsson born Andreasdotter Almgren.
When he was young the family moved to 34AB Majornas in gothenburg Sweden. in april 1900 he joined the Swedish batalion to fight for the Boers in the Second Boer war, got captured and sent to Sankt Helena in august. At some point he went back to Sweden to teach officers, but it dident give much money. He immigrated to Australia january 1904 with the new name Charles Albin Carlson and wrote he was born in either 1872 or 73 and got naturalization in jan 1910.
He married in 2 april Louisa Edith Amelia Nobel. Had 3 boys and 1 girl.
Charles joined the 55th Batalion in 29 June 1917, went to liverpool 3 july.
Got discharged 16 july 1918 for Muscular Rheumatism and apparent becoming senile.
Charles died 2 june 1944 in New South Wales.
