Haddon Herbert ANDERSON was born in Cobargo, New South Wales in 1895

His parents were Henry ANDERSON & Clara BECKWITH who married in NSW in 1892

He had previously served for 2 years with the 11th Light Horse Regiment & had resigned before he enlisted in Liverpool, NSW on 21st July, 1915 and embarked from Sydney on 23rd October, 1915 on the SS Hawkes Bay with the 6th Light Horse Regiment, 11th Reinforcements

Haddon died of Pneumonia & Nephritis at the 26th Stationary Hospital in Ismailia in Egypt on 4th February, 1917 and is buried in the Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery - his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial
