Charles was prior to enlistment in the 86th Infantry for five months.
Charles did a course in Dental Mechanics from 23 July 1919 to 23 October 1919. He was paid 6/- a day.
Charles married Doris Lillian Slaney whilst enlisted at Islington, London on 15 September 1919.
Charles enlisted in WW2 in the Army Citizen Military Forces from Claremont and his service number was W31771. He listed on 9 November 1940 and discharged 23 November 1943.
