"...849 Private Roy Austin Barclay of Bendigo, Victoria. Pte Barclay was a turner by trade and a member of the 67th Infantry, CMF, prior to enlistment on 21 August 1914 and joining the 7th Battalion. He embarked on HMAT Hororata on 19 October 1914. Pte Barclay was killed in action at Lone Pine, Gallipoli Peninsula, on 9 August 1915, aged 20 years." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
