He is honoured on the Ipswich War Memorial in Christchurch Park, Ipswich, Suffolk. It was unveiled in 1924 to commemorate those of the town who died in the First World War. The simple design of the memorial and its construction from white marble ensures it shines and provides a suitable memorial to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
