"DIED ON ACTIVE SERVICE.
ELLERY.-On the 6th October, at the A.C. Hospital, England, of pneumonia, No. 777, W. H. Ellery (Bill), 10th Battalion, late 9th Machine Gun Co., only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Ellery, Moonta, aged 21 years and 8 month, after 3 years and 3 months on active service.
