Surgeon General Sir William Daniel Campbell Williams was honoured with:
KCMG-The Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George
-and was made CB-Companion of the Bath-The Most Honourable Order of the Bath.
He was accepted for commemoration as Great War dead on 21/06/2014
