Frederick Garnet FARLOW was born in 1885 in Maclean, Clarence River, NSW
His parents were Charles FARLOW and Julia HAUGH
He married Margaret Gertrude CONSIDINE in 1915 in Queensland and also enlisted in 1915 with the Australian Army - he was with the 11th Light Horse Regiment, B Squadron - Unit embarked from Brisbane on board HMAT Borda on 16th June, 1915
Frederick was Killed in Action on 25th September, 1918 in Palestine and was buried in Semakh Military Cemetery, grave 3 and then reburied in Haifa War Cemetery, Grave ref. Row B Grave 60 - he is also commemorated on the Australian War Memorial
He was awarded the Military Cross, also Mentioned in Dispatches, 1914-15 Star, British War Medal & the Victory Medal
