On 17th July 1918 transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital at Dartford and discharged to No. 3 Command at Dartford then Overseas Training Brigade before proceeding to France and rejoining unit on 28th September 1918. | |
10 Dec 1918: | Embarked AIF WW1, Sergeant, 3814, 2nd Tunnelling Company (inc. 5th Tunnelling Company), Returned to England from France, disembarking Southampton and proceeded to Weymouth. Granted leave without pay from 18th January 1919 to 24th March 1919 for business purposes, the pursuit of outstanding wages from a mining company in the Belgian Congo. Address was Shaftsbury Hotel London. | |
