Percy Miles ALBION was born on 21st January, 1898 in Miles, Queensland - his age on enlistment was incorrect as he was younger than stated
His parents were Francis ALBION and Annie BARRETT
He enlisted on 18th August, 1915 with the Australian Army - he was with the 15th Battalion, 11th reinforcements - Unit embarked from Brisbane on 21st October 1915 on HMAT Seang Bee
Percy was Wounded in Action on 18th September, 1918 and admitted to the 4th Australian Field Ambulance - he later Died of Wounds at 12th St Louis General Hospital, Rouen, France on 11th October, 1918
He is buried in St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France and also honoured on the Australian War Memorial - he was awarded the 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
