Mr. Clifford Arnold Bailey, sixth son of late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bailey, of West Maitland, died at his residence, Mitchell-street, Tighe's Hill. He is survived by his wife, Ida, and two children, Audrey and Ellis. Mr. Bailey was severely wounded at Gallipoli, and spent 11 months in hospital at Keymouth, England. He had been in failing health for two years. Five brothers and three sisters survive - Mr. A. H. Bailey (Millaa Millaa, North Queensland), W. G. Bailey (Sydney), Dave, Les, and Cecil (West Maitland), Mrs. G. Jarman, and Mrs. C. Barden (West Maitland), and Mrs. D. Means (Hamilton).
The remains were cremated at Beresfield.
