TROOPER FRED R. ASSER, of the 1st Australian Remount Unit. Trooper Fred R. Asser, of the 1st Aust. Remount Unit, is a native of Two Wells, South Australia, and the fourth son of Mr. J. Asser, of Edithburgh. He has been employed at the Islington workshops for the past nine years, where he was well liked by all his fellow-employes and friends.
