On 1 July 1908 Leslie married Blanche Marian Tedd in the Methodist Manse, Morphett Street, Adelaide SA. Blanche remarried and was known as Blanche Ryan of 'Chuck Farm', Forest Road, Mona Vale, NSW. Step-father of John Castner
