"OBITUARY

Mr. Charles F. Harman, who died in Melbourne on October 6, came to Marble Range, near Lake Wangary, in 1909. With his brother, Mr. J. W. Hayman, he took up land in that district. At the time his father, Mr. F. E. Hayman, was superintendent of Eyre Peninsula Railways. In 1914 Mr. C. Hayman enlisted in World War I and returned with his bride from Scotland in 1918. He settled at Marble Range for 12 months and then went to Melbourne. He leaves a widow and three children." - from the Adelaide Advertiser 19 Oct 1946 (nla.gov.au)
