"...1152 Private John Henry Youlden, 8th Australian Light Horse Regiment. A potter from Box Hill, Victoria prior to enlistment, Pte Youlden embarked with the 8th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Kyarra on 20 August 1915. Later transferring to 12 Field Artillery Brigade with the rank of Driver and then to 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, he returned to Australia on 2 March 1919..." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
