The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017 - refer to pages 86/87 + 262. Prior to the war he was a headmaster of Narromine NSW. He enlisted 20 Aug 1914 aged 49 years. During his service to his country he was awarded CMG , DSO , VD. He left UK for Australia 22 Aug 1919.
