'PRICE, E. E. Signaller, No. 3447, 49th Battalion. Born at Charters Towers in July, 1892. Enlisted at Townsville in July, 1915, and went into camp at Brisbane. Left Australia in October, with 11th Rfts. 9th Batt., and joined 49th Batt. on its formation in Egypt in February, 1916. Went to France, and saw service with this Batt. in France and Belgium, returning to Australia in February, 1920. He was for some months Instructor of Signalling at A.I.F.
