Robert Dickenson Crompton was a station manager, married to. Dorrit MacDonald in 1916 in Victoria.
He died at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital 19th August 1951.
He had four children, but an infant son named after him died at 10 weeks old, and is buried at Toowong Cemetery in Queensland.
His three surviving children were Ian, David and Marie.
