The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 265 and 281. Prior to the war he was a civil servant of Canberra, ACT. He enlisted 2nd Dec 1915 aged 25 years. He served for the duration of the war, rising to the rank of Lieutenant and was awarded a Military Medal for his activities. He survived the war and departed the UK for home 10th April 1919. A manuscript belonging to Albert has been donated to the Australian War Memorial - refer to PR089/050.
