Julius CAMOIN was born in Marseille, France in 1872
His parents were Vincent & Rosaline CAMOIN
He married Jeanne Aline (surname unknown) in New Caledonia - she died in Sydney in 1962
He enlisted in Sydney on 23rd June 1916 and embarked on the HMAT Miltiades on 2nd August, 1917 - he returned to Australia on the ship Port Darwin embarking on 11th January, 1918, suffering from Illness and died on 19th April, 1918 in the AGH Hospital in Randwick, Sydney - he is buried in Rookwood Cemetery in Sydney
