When Charles made out his will he gave his name as Charles Harvester Andrews.
Son of Thomas Charles and Tulip Louisa Andrews of Combo, Singleton, NSW
On the Roll of Honour Circular his mother said: Killed in action Irish House near Warneton. Always an enthusiastic soldier he enlisted as soon as he reached 18 years and by merit rose to the rank he held at his death. (WO2). Details from Mother
