464 Trooper Maurice Arthur Harcourt, E Troop C Squadron 5th Light Horse Regiment did not embark on 21 Dec 1914 from Sydney aboard HMAT Persic (owing to illness). Embarkation Roll #1 (www.awm.gov.au)
After being discharged from the Brisbane Base Hospital on 21 Dec 1914, he reported for duty to the Military Camp at Enoggera. He was then transferred to the 2nd reinforcements of the 5th Light Horse Regiment with the new service number 752, and his middle name corrected to Albert. He embarked on 09 Feb 1915 from Brisbane aboard HMAT Itria. Embarkation Roll #2 (www.awm.gov.au)
