The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017 - refer to pages 148 + 264. Prior to the war he was a monitor in a telephone exchange in Sydney NSW. He enlisted 10th June 1915 aged 23 years. He served with the 4th Infantry Battalion, earning a Military Medal before being promoted to Lieutenant. He survived the war and departed the UK for home 31st May 1919.
