Personal Stories
Two World Wars
Bertie Alexander Moylan served in both World War I and in World War II. In WWI he served in the 39th Battalion, AIF and was wounded three times. He attained the rank of Lance Corporal.
In WWII he served as the Quartermaster in the 2/27th Battalion with the rank of Captain and later as Major. He was captured in the Middle East by the Germans and served as a prisoner of war at Oflag VB and Oflag VIB in Germany.
