Thomas Mason was a motor mechanic. His parents were Thomas Mason and Catherine Long who lived at Woody Point. Thomas attended Humpybong State School. He married Mary Elizabeth Gallagher in September 1910 and enlisted in September 1916. His brother, William Roger Mason [7510] also enlisted and sister Rachel was married to Horace Martin [3424]. On his return from the war Thomas obtained work as a chauffeur. He and Mary divorced in 1930 and Thomas then married Frances May Hogan.
