Son of George Quine and Agnes Eleanor Quine nee Goodwin of Lewisham Street, Dulwich Hill, NSW.
16 June 1916 - enlisted at Sydney, NSW with the 2nd Signal Squadron and with rank of Private and service number 16072.
1 September 1916 - promoted to Sapper
14 December 1916 - taken on strngth with the 1st Light Horse Regiemnt Training Regiement
9 July 1918 - taken on strength with the 2nd Signal Squadron
Commenced return to Australia on 26 July 1919 aboard HT Burma disembarking on 1 September 1919

9 October 1919 - discharged at the 2nd Military District
