Mr. Harold N. Dodds.
Many old friends in Brisbane, where he formerly resided, will regret to learn of the death, on June 3, of Mr. Harold Nicholas Dodds, at Manly, Sydney, where he had been engaged in business for a number of years. The late Mr. Dodds had been in indifferent health for the past two years. He was born on the lower Tweed River, and is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Ewing, whose parents reside at Ipswich Road, South Brisbane; a brother, Mr. Owen Dodds, resides at Murwillumbah. Deceased was a member of the 3rd Queensland Mounted Infantry, and saw considerable active service in the Boer War as a sergeant signaller in General Lord Methuen's column. He was a member of a New South Wales A.I.F. battalion in the Great War.
