Biography contributed

Stanley Alfred James CHEERS was born in Kempsey, Macleay River area in NSW on 1st November, 1894

His parents were Walter Chapman CHEERS & Isabella Evangeline TAYLOR who married in the Macleay River area of NSW in 1881

He married Veronica Agnes DRISCOLL in Victoria in 1923

He served in both WW1 in the 2nd Light Horse Regiment and WW2 with the 5th Infantry Training Depot in Colac, Victoria (see service details for more information)

Stanley died in Chinderah, NSW in 1970 and is buried in the Tweed Heads Lawn Cemetery
