Biography

Arthur's father, John Turner, died in the Bawden Mine accident on 17/3/1899 at Wooragee.

His grandfather , John Turner, died tragically at Wooragee on 22/6/1899.

His mother, Lydia, died on Beechworth on 29/10/1918. (Before her seventh child returned from the war.)

Arthur married Elizabeth Mary Sutherland in 1920. Elizabeth died in 1972 at 170 Rosmoyne St. Thornbury, Melb.
