David was born on 29 January 1894 in Brisbane and he died on 11 September 1949 in Brisbane. He was cremated at Mt Thompson in Brisbane.
His parents were Archibald MacDonald and Kate (nee Mitchell).
He is listed in the Logan Village Museum Honour Roll for WW1, as his family lived in the Jimboomba/Greenbank area.
