Lewis Marsden BULL was born on 31st October 1895 in Burwood, Sydney, NSW
His parents were Lewis Daniel BULL and Mary Amelia MARSDEN
He had previous service with the Senior Cadets (40th Inf) before he enlisted on 27th September, 1915 with the Australian Army - He was a Private with the 3rd Battalion, 15th Reinforcements - Unit embarked from Sydney on board HMAT Star of England on 8th March, 1916
Lewis was Killed in Action on 18th September, 1918, Herbecourt, Somme, France and is buried in Roisel Communal Cemetery Extension - he is also commemorated on the Australian War Memorial
His last rank was Lieutenant with the 1st Battalion - he was awarded the British War Medal and the Victory Medal
