Son of Mary Stagg, of Moe, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia, and the late Thomas Stagg.
Private J.L. Stagg is the son of Mrs Stagg of Moe. He spent his 24th birthday in Egypt, and was wounded with the landing party at the Dardanelles. He was C.R. in the Moe Rechabite lodge, and had filled the respective chairs in the local lodge of Oddfellows, M.U.
