Father David Allen and Mother Emily Jane Allen (nee Strachan).
19/6/1920 mother advised AIF, father David Allen died in 1900.
Mother later remarried - Mrs Emily Jane Burzacott and step father John Henry Burzacott
lived at Goolwa, South Australia
later relocated to Finniss, SA
Described on enlisting as 20 years 5 months old; single; 5' 7 1/2" tall; 148 lbs;
fair complexion; grey eyes; brown hair; Methodist.
