Biography

"...2473 Trooper James Miller, 5th Light Horse Regiment, of Tambo, Qld. A grazier before enlisting in September 1915, Tpr Miller left Australia for Egypt with the 17th Reinforcements, and arrived in Palestine for service in the Middle East in September 1916. He transferred to the 2nd Light Horse Brigade Machine Gun Squadron in November 1916, where he remained for the rest of the war. Tpr Miller survived the war, and returned to Australia in March 1919." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
