Son of Charles LINDSELL and Elizabeth nee LANG
Served in the South African (Boer) War, 1899-1901; and in the Australian Field Artillery (7 years, 44 days).
Charles was appointed Senior Attendant at the National Art Gallery 1st March 1920 and retired on 14th December 1937
