A bit more more about Walter Copper.
Walter Copper (1890-1917) was born in Robertson, growing up, he spent some time in Coonabarabran but was a Gulgong local upon his enlistment.
Full name of Walter Copper's (1890-1917) father was Frederick William Copper (1847- 1894) and his mother was Louisa Ivy Copper (nee Golding)- 1854-1938 of Belmore Street, Gulgong, NSW. The family also lived in another Gulgong area address too- probably Two Mile Flat. The Copper family is a long time local Gulgong family and honours the sacrifice made by Walter Copper.
