Found Dead In His Room
A 64-year-old pensioner, Daniel Christopher Brace, was found dead in his room at 74 Crystal Street about 6.30 p.m. yesterday.
Brace had not been seen since about midday on Saturday, and was found dead on the floor of his room by Martin Mestrov, owner of the premises at 74 Crystal Street.
A man named Mamat, Who lives next door to Brace, told the police he heard a noise like someone falling.
Sgt. C. Dennett, who went to the house, had the body removed to the morgue, and the death was reported to Mr. C. K. Ward, Coroner.
Mr. Brace (64) was a veteran of World War I. He was single and a pensioner.
He will be buried tomorrow in the Catholic Cemetery. The funeral will leave Norman Woodman’s funeral parlor at 10.45 a.m.

The funeral of Mr. Daniel Christopher Brace, of 74 Crystal Street, who died on Saturday, took place this morning. The cortege left Norman Woodman's funeral parlor at 10.45 a.m. for the Catholic Cemetery. Father J. Shannon officiated at the graveside.
Bearers were: Messrs. E. P. Bradly, F. Mestrov, J. M. Edgecombe, and J. Lehman. Mr. E. P. Brady represented the Returned Soldiers' League and paid the Tribute to the Fallen. Norman Woodman had charge of the funeral.
