MR. H. O. TOLMAN
Cremation at Cornelian Bay
The funeral of the late Mr. Hobart Oscar Tolman took place at the Corne- lian Bay Crematorium on Saturday in the presence of relations and friends. Mr. Tolman was a former member of the 1st Machine Gun Company, A.I.F., and a large number of ex-servicemen were present. The R.S.S.I.L.A. was re- presented by the president (Mr. F. X. Heerey, M.H.A.), the secretary (Mr.TS. W. Lacy), and Messrs. R. E. Totham and V. Ellis, ot the Hobart sub-branch. The Worshipful Master and brethren of the Naval and Military Lodge ot Free-masons, and several of Mr. Tolman's workmates of the telegraph linesmen's branch of the Postal Department also were present. Messrs. Heerey, Lacy, Totham, and Ellis were pall-bearers, and the service was conducted by theRev. J. H. Cloudsdale.

Private Tolman was a Master Mariner prior to enlistment and a telegraph linesman with the Postal Department in later life.
