Norman BALSHAW was born in Moama, NSW in 1891
His parents were Thomas Watkinson BALSHAW and Jane Ann BREMNER who married in NSW in 1882

His brother Roderick Robert BALSHAW (SN 547) also served in WW1 & was Killed in Action in 1917
