Son of Joseph Dale of 157 Argyle Street, Hobart, Tasmania
Husband of Violet Dale nee Petley of 1 Ruston Mews, St. Marks Road, Nottinghill, London, England. Samuel and Violet were married on 18 April 1918 at the Registry Office, Kensington, England and conducted by E.R. Barnes
