PRIVATE ARNOLD BOWEN.
Cr. Bowen (president of the Maldon Shire) has received word that his son, Arnold, was killed in France on 17th April. Private Bowon sailed from Australia in February, 1917, and was on the Ballarat when she was torpedoed. He had previously been wounded, and only a few days ago word was received that he was proceeding on furlough.
