"THE LATE PRIVATE A. BRADLEY.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Bradley, of 67 Castle-street, Parkside, have been notified of the death of their son, Private Alfred Bradley, as the result of wounds received in France in action on November 14. He was the youngest of four brothers serving at the front. Private Bradley reached his twentieth birthday in France on June 17. He left South Australia on January 11, 1916. Before enlisting he served twelve months as a guard at Torrens Island, and then at Keswick. He was of a bright and happy disposition and was well liked and respected." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 23 Dec 1916 (nla.gov.au)
