Biography

Arthur Talbot Scott ADAMS was born on 31st May, 1885 in Cooma, NSW

His parents were James Henry ADAMS and Elizabeth J SCOTT

He enlisted in Feb. 1914 with the 12th Light Horse Regiment  - Unit embarked from Sydney on HMAT Ceramic on 25th June, 1915

He returned to Australia on 15th May, 1919 and married Ann D KINLOCH in 1921 in Narrandera NSW 

Arthur died on 31st October 1968 late of Strathfield & formerly of Leeton NSW -  His funeral left St Davids Church, Strathfield on 1st November for Rookwood Crematorium

He received the Military Medal, on 31st October 1917 for gallantry and devotion to duty for the final assault on Beersheba. & also the 1914-15 Star, British War Medal & the Victory Medal
