William Edward WILLIS was born in Adelaide, South Australia on 21st June, 1870
His parents were George WILLIS & Jessie Jane BELL
Prior to enlisting in WW1 he had served in the Boxer Uprising in 1900 - at the time of his death on 22nd October, 1915 he had spent 22 years in the Naval Reserve
William married Hannah Marie VEARING on 14th August, 1901 in St Pauls Church Adelaide - 2 known children
